Who should apply?

The Marketing & Communications Intern would:
  • Assist with the development and execution of marketing campaigns that promote organizational goals and enhance brand awareness.
  • Create engaging visual and written content for advertising, marketing, social media, email, and other digital channels.
  • Design marketing materials and digital assets using Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, while maintaining brand consistency across all platforms.
  • Support social media management efforts by developing content, scheduling posts, and monitoring engagement.
  • Contribute to member engagement and outreach initiatives by helping create targeted communications and promotional materials.
  • Analyze marketing performance metrics and campaign results, providing insights and recommendations to improve effectiveness and audience engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on brand-building initiatives and special projects as assigned.

Eligibility Requirements
To be considered, applicants must:
  • Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator) is preferred
  • Have completed at least two years toward a degree (Junior or Senior status preferred)
  • Hold a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Be available to work on-site at our administrative offices in Frankfort, KY
  • Be available to work during our standard business hours (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday), with a flexible schedule to accommodate academic commitments. Specific hours will be determined based on mutual agreement.
