We're on the lookout for highly motivated college students, in good academic standing, who are passionate about our brand and working toward a career in the retail industry. Interns will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day operations within their designated department, providing support to other departments as needed, as well as handling administrative tasks throughout the office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in fabric sourcing for upcoming seasons
  • Reconfirming information in Centric is accurate to issue P.O'S
  • Ensure costing and TNA information is filled out by each supplier, follow up with suppliers for missing information
  • Assist with the maintenance and organization of all submits including development, bulk, and TOP's
  • Sit in on weekly meetings such as Cross Functional Team meetings, fittings, color reviews, and design pass offs
  • Help with package calls
  • Pass design comments to vendors
  • Learn about Centric and how it is used cross functionally in development and production
  • Demonstrate the ability to carefully listen to others at all levels in the organization
  • Have strong time management, prioritization and organizational skills
  • Understand and adhere to all policies related to the organization
  • Complete ad hoc projects and responsibilities as needed

What you bring:
  • Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising or other related field
  • An interest in working in the fashion industry after graduation
  • A passion for the vineyard vines brand and lifestyle
  • Great communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Flexibility and open-mindedness
  • Experience with Excel and GMail
  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy required
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential company materials
  • Strong interpersonal communication
  • Ability to plan, manage time, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively receive and communicate feedback
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude

A few things you should know:
  • This internship is for credit only and you must be able to provide the appropriate paperwork from your school in order to be considered
  • Able to come into the office on either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday (2x a week)
  • We work with your class and extracurricular schedule to determine your internship schedule. Please note: we recommend working two full 8 hour days and one 4 hour half day.
  • Fall internships can be up to 15 weeks long with a max of 20 hours per week
  • Fall internships slated to start early to mid-September
