Fairfax Behavioral Health has been a cornerstone of mental health care in the Greater Seattle/Puget Sound areas since 1930. Our mission is to provide top-quality patient care through comprehensive mental health and co-occurring addiction treatment services for adolescents and adults.
  • Kirkland Campus: 157-bed standalone psychiatric hospital offering a full continuum of care.
  • Everett Campus: 30-bed adult psychiatric facility in Everett at Providence Medical Center's Pacific Campus.
  • Monroe Campus: 34-bed facility located at Evergreen Health in Monroe.
  • Bellevue Outpatient
Fairfax Behavioral Health offers a complete continuum of acute inpatient, PHP, IOP, Patriot Support Program for Active Duty, Veterans, and First Responders, and Women's-focused programs.

  • Manageable and Sustainable Caseload: Adult inpatient caseload consisting of 15-18 total encounters per day.
  • Flexible Schedule: Generally, Monday-Friday, day shifts, with the ability to be offsite after daily patient care duties are finished.
  • Primary Duties: Initial psychiatric evaluations, assessments, treatment team leadership, and patient discharges.
  • Work-Life Balance: Occasional once monthly weekend rounding and once per week evening call coverage by phone only.
  • Leadership and Growth Opportunities: Unit Directorship/Leadership appointment available if interested.
Benefits and Compensation
  • Job type: Full time employed W-2 position.
  • Salary range: $320,000-$350,000.
  • Unit or Service Line Directorship: Available for those interested (includes additional stipend).
  • Bonus structure: Additional earnings potential through productivity bonus plan and additional call & weekend shifts.
  • Benefits: Robust benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, company-matched 401K, ST/LT disability, etc.
  • Malpractice insurance covered.
  • PTO: 26 days Paid Time Off annually.

Required Education, Licensure, & Certifications
  1. Education: MD/DO degree from an accredited program.
  2. Certifications: BC/BE in General Psychiatry (required).
  3. Licensure: Current Washington physician/medical license in good standing, or the ability to obtain required license.
  4. Credentialing: Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians.
