Fairfax Behavioral Health, founded in 1930, is a private, free-standing mental health hospital that specializes in psychiatric and detox treatment. REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Education: Requires a minimum of Bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition or dietetics from an accredited college or university. Master’s degree in clinical nutrition or dietetics preferred.

Experience: At least one (1) year post internship work experience in clinical nutrition preferred, in a health care facility with concentration in nutritional assessment and counseling. Prior experience with eating disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders and other behavioral conditions preferred.

Licensure:  Registration with the Commission on Dietetics and certified dietitian with the State of Washington.
