Our client is a manufacturer with various well known global brands. Highly respected and stable company. They are private‑equity‑backed and the organization operates multiple manufacturing facilities and recently completed a consolidation from five factories to two as part of a broader operational and financial transformation.

Role: US Controller

Reason for the opening:
The role is open due to the departure of the prior US Controller. Our client is seeking a seasoned, hands‑on leader to take full ownership of U.S. accounting and lead the function through an active transformation period.

About the team:
The US Controller serves as the senior accounting leader for the United States. The role oversees accounting operations supporting two US manufacturing plants and corporate accounting. Direct reports include the Accounting Manager and a Cost Accountant supporting one of their manufacturing operation. The role partners closely with operations leadership and corporate finance. The team requires strong leadership, clear accountability, and active mentoring as capabilities continue to develop.

About the role:
This is a senior, hands‑on controllership role with full responsibility for U.S. accounting, financial close, and trial balance ownership. The US Controller is accountable for month‑end close accuracy and timeliness, manufacturing cost accounting, process improvements, and strengthening controls in a private‑equity environment. The role requires direct involvement in the details, leadership through change, and collaboration with operations as the business continues to stabilize and scale.
