- Design and implement tailored treatment plans that align with clients' goals, factoring in their unique backgrounds and circumstances.
- Facilitate evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions, incorporating techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices.
- Regularly collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care, reviewing progress in treatment and making necessary adjustments to continue meeting client needs.
- Provide psychoeducation and emotional support to clients and their families, equipping them with effective coping strategies and facilitating their involvement in the treatment process.
- Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client interactions and treatment plans, in adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
Our client population predominantly includes women facing various mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma-related disorders. Additionally, you will support clients navigating end-of-life issues within our hospice setting, addressing their psychological needs and promoting a sense of peace and dignity during a significant phase of life.
Qualifications- A current and valid license in one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency in mental health counseling, specifically in therapeutic techniques and client-centered approaches.
- A strong understanding of evidence-based practices to treat diverse mental health disorders effectively.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, ideally working with diverse populations.
- Experience in hospice or palliative care settings would be an asset.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling techniques is preferred.
- A competitive salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 104,000 annually, depending on your qualifications and experience.
- Comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and generous paid time off is offered to promote work-life balance and well-being.
- Opportunities for ongoing professional development, including workshops and training in the latest mental health practices.
- Access to resources and tools to keep you informed of current research trends in mental health counseling.
