Responsibilities

Assistant supervisor assumes supervisory responsibilities as assigned in the absence of the maintenance supervisor. Assistant supervisor will assist with the hiring, job evaluations, orientation, education, and training of the employees. Individual must be able to perform support all supervisor related aspects. Works with supervisor and technicians to resolve complex issues, maintain system integrity, adapt to system changes and respond to emergency situations. Typical duties include but not limited to:
Scheduling utility outages for maintenance and project activities 
Provide project support
CMMS asset management
Enter assets/create procedures
Involved with Retro-Commissioning and Commissioning process 
Guide and assist technicians in the assigned work unit
Collaborate across all Rochester work units
Ensure proper tools are available and kept up to date on calibration
Assists employees with complex technical problems or with difficult customer service issues 
Show positive support for continuous improvement 
Promotes and facilitates teamwork, supports safety, high ethical standards, process improvements that result in quality work, improved customer service and/or greater overall value.

Please note: We are hiring for multiple openings within this role. Positions are available across various shifts and may report to different supervisors depending on the assigned schedule.
