Front Office Assistant and Warehouse Support

Position Summary:

Western States Metal Roofing is looking for a motivated and dependable individual to join our Spokane branch. This position offers a mix of office and warehouse responsibilities and is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day. This position is primarily focused on office administration and customer service, with occasional support provided to the warehouse team as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Front Office (Primary):

  • Greet and assist customers, visitors, and vendors in person and over the phone.

  • Answer and route incoming calls, emails, and messages promptly and professionally.

  • Process quotes, orders, and invoices accurately in the company system.

  • Coordinate with sales and logistics teams to ensure smooth order flow and customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain organized filing systems, office supplies, and daily administrative tasks.

  • Assist management with reports, scheduling, and general administrative support.

  • Handle shipping paperwork, customer pickups, and order status updates

Warehouse Support (Secondary):
  • Provide occasional help in packaging, labeling, or organizing orders.

  • Assist with basic material handling or moving light products as needed.

  • Communicate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment.

  • Support inventory checks or cycle counts when requested.

  • Operate a forklift to help load and unload trucks (training provided if needed)
  • Support the team with general warehouse organization and upkeep.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in office administration or customer service required.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
