What this job involves:
As the Assistant Facilities Manager for our prestigious Omnicom account, you will play a critical role in delivering operational excellence across a dynamic corporate environment. This position serves as a key operational leader responsible for the comprehensive delivery of integrated facilities management services, ensuring business continuity, financial performance, and exceptional service quality. You'll work closely with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders, managing everything from advanced work order systems and vendor relationships to sustainability initiatives and emergency response coordination. What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Execute comprehensive work order management using advanced CAFM systems, ensuring all service requests are completed within SLA parameters while maintaining detailed documentation
  • Provide expert customer service and operational support to C-suite executives and senior stakeholders, serving as a trusted point of contact for facilities-related needs
  • Oversee vendor relationships and performance, working with procurement teams to competitively bid service contracts and ensure cost-effective, high-quality service delivery
  • Support P&L management activities, identifying and implementing operational cost savings initiatives to meet client budget targets and profitability goals
  • Coordinate sustainability programs including energy management, waste reduction, and recycling initiatives, monitoring building systems performance through BMS analysis to optimize consumption
  • Lead HSSE activities and compliance efforts, conducting assessments, reporting incidents, and ensuring all team members complete required safety training
  • Manage facility documentation and regulatory reporting to maintain audit readiness and compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements
  • Foster collaborative relationships across internal teams and client stakeholders, proactively identifying emerging needs and developing innovative solutions to complex operational challenges.

Required qualifications:
  • Progressive experience in corporate facilities management with demonstrated expertise in delivering integrated FM services in complex environments
  • Proven track record of managing vendor relationships, service contracts, and procurement activities to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
  • Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience managing budgets, P&L oversight, and implementing cost optimization programs
  • Solid understanding of building automation systems, energy management practices, and sustainability frameworks
  • Experience using CAFM or similar work order management systems to track service delivery and maintain compliance documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service to senior executives and stakeholders in fast-paced corporate settings
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience fostering team collaboration and driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and build trusted relationships across all organizational levels

Preferred qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Facilities Management, Operations Management, or related field
  • Experience managing facilities for corporate clients in professional services, media, or communications industries
  • Knowledge of LEED, WELL, or other sustainability certification standards and green building practices
  • Familiarity with IoT implementation, smart building technologies, and digital transformation initiatives in facilities management
  • Experience supporting corporate relocations, renovations, or significant change management projects
  • Track record of successfully implementing sustainability programs that reduce environmental impact while maintaining operational efficiency
  • Professional certifications such as CFM (Certified Facility Manager), FMP (Facility Management Professional), or similar credentials

Estimated compensation for this position:
60,000.00 - 70,000.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
