Job Description
Business analysis and requirements management
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, underwriters, product owners and operations teams to understand business objectives and system requirements.
  • Analyze current-state business processes and define future-state workflows.
  • Facilitate requirement-gathering workshops, stakeholder interviews and process-discovery sessions.
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, use cases and process flows.
  • Create and maintain Business Requirements Documents, Functional Requirements Specifications, acceptance criteria and traceability matrices.
  • Identify gaps, dependencies, risks and downstream impacts across applications and business processes.
  • Obtain stakeholder review, validation and sign-off on functional requirements.

Policy administration and insurance processes
  • Analyze and support commercial P&C policy-administration processes across:
    • Submission intake
    • Quote
    • Bind
    • Policy issuance
    • New business
    • Endorsements
    • Cancellations
    • Reinstatements
    • Renewals
    • Rating
    • Underwriting rules
    • Forms and document generation
    • Billing and premium-accounting interfaces
  • Understand insurance product structures, coverages, limits, deductibles, forms, rates and underwriting rules.
  • Support the configuration and enhancement of insurance products and workflows within Insurity Pro Suite.
  • Collaborate with product and underwriting teams to translate insurance requirements into system behavior.
  • Ensure proposed solutions align with regulatory, operational and business requirements.

Solution analysis and design
  • Partner with solution architects, technical leads, developers and configuration specialists to define functional solutions.
  • Evaluate whether requirements can be addressed through product configuration, workflow changes, integration or custom development.
  • Document system interactions, business rules, data flows and integration requirements.
  • Analyze the impact of changes across upstream and downstream systems.
  • Support API, interface and data-mapping discussions with technical teams.
  • Review solution designs to ensure they meet approved business and functional requirements.

Testing and implementation support
  • Support the creation of test scenarios, test cases and expected results.
  • Coordinate with QA teams to ensure complete test coverage.
  • Participate in system integration testing, regression testing and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Support business users during UAT and assist with defect triage and resolution.
  • Validate that implemented solutions meet functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Support release-readiness reviews, implementation planning and post-production validation.
  • Assist with user documentation, process guides and knowledge-transfer materials.

Production support and continuous improvement
  • Support the investigation and resolution of production incidents and functional defects.
  • Perform functional root-cause analysis and coordinate with development, infrastructure and vendor teams.
  • Analyze recurring issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support production monitoring, release validation and post-implementation stabilization.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, user experience and system reliability.
  • Maintain documentation of known issues, business rules, workflows and support procedures.
  • Provide functional guidance to production-support and application-support teams.

Stakeholder and vendor management
  • Serve as a trusted functional partner to client business and technology stakeholders.
  • Communicate requirements, risks, dependencies and delivery status clearly to leadership and project teams.
  • Coordinate with Insurity and other third-party vendors as required.
  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions between business, development, QA, support and infrastructure teams.
  • Provide recommendations and options to stakeholders based on business value, effort, risk and platform capabilities.
