Job description

The Metal Fabrication Supervisor oversees a medium-sized team of 6 to 15 members, ensuring efficient and high-quality metal fabrication processes. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager and Operations Manager, this role involves managing day-to-day production activities including new projects, routine maintenance, and custom fabrication. The supervisor works primarily during regular day shifts but must also accommodate shift work including nights and weekends. They are responsible for maintaining safety standards, overseeing quality control, and coordinating scheduling and inventory to meet production goals.


We have multiple Positions available for AM & PM

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a medium-sized metal fabrication team
  • Oversee production operations and ensure project timelines are met
  • Maintain quality control standards throughout fabrication processes
  • Implement and enforce safety management protocols
  • Develop and manage work schedules, including shift rotations
  • Manage inventory and equipment maintenance to optimize production
  • Provide training and development for team members
  • Prepare reports on production, safety, and quality metrics

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in metal fabrication supervision
  • Knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and welding
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
