Job Description

Currently seeking to fill several Fab Machine Operator roles at our facility to aid in the production of semi-tractor trailers. These positions are skilled and seek to produce parts in the production of our semi-tractor trailer manufacturing group. Ideal candidates will have experience using the following tools/equipment: drill press, brake press, shear, CNC, plasma table, etc. Employees must be able to work regular overtime, up to 12 hour days and 60 hours in a week. Ideal candidates should be familiar with impacts, drills, hole saws, and other power and hand tools.

We are also currently accepting applications for welder trainees. Training is free for those that qualify, and paid at $21.40 an hour.

Essential Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of production and manufacturing processes
  • Solid understanding in the proper use of a tape measure
  • All fitting work done with a tape measure requiring a good working knowledge of fractional math
  • Physically able to lift as much as 50 lbs on an occasional basis

Other Essential Requirements

  • Present well and be able to read, write and communicate effectively
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED and be prepared to present proof if requested
  • Have a reasonably stable employment history for the past five years or since graduating from a trade or vocational training institution
  • Pass a criminal and driver's license background check
  • Have an active driver's license
  • Ability to work any shift (no swing shift)
  • Willingness to work overtime, up to 60 hours a week

Wage Schedule

  • The starting wage is $21.70 an hour
  • Increases of 50¢ an hour after 6 months, 12 months, 2 years, & 3 years
  • Additional undetermined increases could apply during the first three years of employment. Current increases include $.30 raises in April, 2025
  • Overtime consistently available and paid at time-and-a-half, including daily or weekly overtime
