Job description

Overview
MCAPS-Core accelerates customer outcomes and business growth. By uniting product, engineering, marketing, sales, customer success, and partners around a common customer mission, we help customers realize value faster and turn innovation into measurable business impact. Through deep technical expertise and differentiated go-to-market execution, we win competitively, capture market share, and scale repeatable growth motions. We differentiate through value creation - delivering world-class, AI-powered customer experiences that accelerate adoption, strengthen loyalty, and create sustainable competitive advantage, driving growth that outpaces the market.
As a Global GTM Strategy Lead for Microsoft Fabric, you'll play a key role in defining and scaling Microsoft's go-to-market strategy for the unified data platform of the AI era - spanning Fabric IQ, Real-Time Intelligence, and Business Intelligence (Power BI). In this position, you'll work at the intersection of strategy, technology, and business, collaborating with engineering, field, and partner teams to bring Fabric's data-to-decisions capabilities to life through practical, high-impact use cases.
This role sits within the AI and Data Platform Go-To-Market team and is focused on accelerating the adoption of Microsoft Fabric across Microsoft's commercial ecosystem - establishing Fabric IQ as the semantic intelligence layer that grounds enterprise AI in governed business context, Real-Time Intelligence as the engine for event-driven and streaming analytics, and BI as the decision surface that reaches every business user.
In this role, you will architect the business strategy, go-to-market approach, and customer engagement models to drive scalable, governed, and impactful Fabric adoption. You'll own overall revenue for the Fabric workloads in scope, managing key metrics and addressing new market opportunities. You will also lead sales programs that leverage Fabric IQ, Real-Time Intelligence, and BI to solve customer challenges, partnering with Marketing and Engineering to share feedback and shape product strategy.
Microsoft's mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
Responsibilities
Strategic Architecture & Program Design
  • Design and launch data-led sales programs with key Microsoft partners to grow Microsoft Fabric market share across Fabric IQ, Real-Time Intelligence, and BI, spanning Enterprises, Digital Natives, and ISVs.
  • Coach global sales teams and managers to execute Fabric opportunities effectively across the IQ, Real-Time Intelligence, and BI workloads.
  • Collaborate with sales, partners, marketing, and engineering to drive coordinated cross-business data and AI strategies, connecting the Fabric narrative from real-time ingestion through the semantic layer to BI-led decision making.
  • Translate technical capabilities and reference architectures (knowledge graphs and ontologies, eventstreams and Eventhouse/KQL, semantic models and Power BI) into business-aligned solution frameworks.
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to shape roadmap priorities based on customer and field feedback.
    Customer & Field Enablement
  • Lead the development of scalable sales plays, reference architectures, and enablement content for Fabric IQ, Real-Time Intelligence, and BI to support field teams and partners.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to strategic customers, helping them envision and implement Fabric solutions that drive measurable outcomes, from a governed semantic layer to real-time analytics and self-service BI.
  • Collaborate with Cloud Solution Architects, Global Black Belts, and Industry Specialists to land Fabric in industry-specific scenarios.
    Thought Leadership & Evangelism
  • Represent Microsoft in executive briefings, industry forums, and customer workshops as a thought leader on the modern data platform and enterprise semantic intelligence.
  • Contribute to internal and external content that advances Microsoft's leadership in governed, AI-ready data, spanning the knowledge-graph and ontology foundation of Fabric IQ, Real-Time Intelligence, and BI.
    Business Impact & Insights
  • Own revenue accountability and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Fabric adoption, consumption, and customer success across the workloads in scope.
  • Capture and synthesize insights from customer, field, and partner teams to drive improvements in business strategy and product roadmap.
