Job description

We have an outstanding Contract position for an FAA Assembly & Test Technician to join a leading Company located in the Tempe, AZ surrounding area.

**US Citizenship is required.**

We are seeking detail-oriented professionals to perform standardized testing on a wide range of aviation equipment. This role involves accurately documenting and analyzing test results to ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform industry-specific tests on aviation equipment in accordance with established protocols.
  • Record detailed observations and analyze data to identify performance trends and potential issues.
  • Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance testing procedures and improve equipment reliability.
  • Contribute to the development of safety guidelines and best practices within the aviation industry.

Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in the field or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific testing tools (e.g., calipers, depth micrometers, bore gauges, inside/outside micrometers).
  • Experience using torque wrenches and working with mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with standard industry concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to work under direct supervision and complete assignments with limited experience and judgment.
  • Physical ability to lift over 30 lbs and manage risks associated with testing activities.
