Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Extruder Operator for the 3rd shift. This is an excellent opportunity for growth within a nicotine-free work environment. It's important to note that reliable transportation is required as our manufacturing facility is located outside of Alliance city limits.
Responsibilities:
*Prepare cores, skids, and other necessary supplies for the extruding process.
*Set up the extruding machine according to the work order specifications.
*Safely operate the extruding machine to produce quality rolls of film.
*Monitor the extruding process, ensuring proper size, thickness, and other quality parameters.
*Remove completed rolls from the machine and record relevant data such as weight, footage, and impression count.
*Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to housekeeping standards.
*Demonstrate accurate measuring skills to ensure product specifications are met.
*Lift objects weighing up to 80 lbs as part of the job requirements.
*Maneuver around, between, and underneath machines and equipment effectively.
*Be capable of climbing stairs and working on catwalks as needed.
*Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
*Flexibility to work any shift as required, with the possibility of working different shifts in the future.
