Job description

AnnieMac Home Mortgage is looking to hire a Full Time Originating External Sales Manager to maintain their own personal production and superve a staff of Loan Originators. Candidates should have experience directly or indirectly related to the Mortgage Industry. Under the direct supervision of the Branch Manager, the job responsibilities of the Originating External Sales Manager position include, but are not limited, to the following:
  • Attend new referral source meetings.
  • Maintain personal production goals.
  • Develop and maintain Realtor relationships.
  • Recruit Loan Originators at the discretion of the Branch Manager.
  • Supervise and coach Loan Originators to ensure they are maintaining their production goals.
  • Train the Loan Originators relative to proper sales techniques and standards, with appropriate follow-through.
  • Monitor quality of loans originated by Loan Originators and ensure they are within company policy and guidelines. Also, monitor loan originators compensation plans and keep them in balance with production.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of pricing and underwriting requirements of various mortgage insurance companies.
  • Must have a working knowledge of credit underwriting and property eligibility requirements for FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, local bonding programs and private investors.
  • Must be familiar with local, state and national laws (e.g. zoning ordinances, Truth-in Lending, RESPA, energy audit requirements, etc.)
  • Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to analyze financial information.
  • Must have the ability to manage a staff of Loan Originators.
  • Must be a sales-oriented self-starter.

Work Environment/Physical Demands: Office environment. Must be able to sit at a desk for a long period of time which may cause muscle strain. This position requires a minimum of 80% travel.
