Job description

The External Relations Division work-study students must be able to work independently, in a quiet office setting, given basic instructions on tasks, have good organization skills, give attention to detail, and input information/data without error. A working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is needed. Information managed by the External Relations Division is sensitive in nature, so individuals must be trusted with confidential information.
Duties to be performed:
  • Assist with the daily functions of Career Services and the Foundation for State Tech:
  • Assist with Alumni Relations tasks and events.
  • Assist with Career Services tasks and events.
  • Assist with Donor Relations tasks and events.
  • Assist with Fundraising tasks and events.
  • Assist with Scholarship tasks and events.
  • Verify and enter accurate data regarding alumni records and career services information.
  • File routine correspondence.
  • Copy, collate and prepare correspondence for distribution.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.

Hourly Pay Rate: $15 per hour. This is a part-time, non-benefit eligible position.
Work Schedule: 10 hours per week maximum.
