Job description

Timpte is looking for an Operations Manager at our Lincoln, NE Manufacturing Facility. This role is responsible for leading all sub-assembly and final assembly at our brand new Lincoln Manufacturing Center. This role provides strategic and day-to-day leadership to ensure the safe, efficient and cost-effective production of high-quality products. This position will manage the daily production functions to ensure completion of a quality product within schedule time and budget.
Total compensation for this role is $100-140k/year.

What You’ll Do

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Lead our Safety, Quality, Productivity and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

• Design, implement and sustain Demand Flow Technologies (DFT) methodologies.

•Planning, Scheduling and Execution of all assembly operations within the sub-assembly, Tarp and Equipment Trailer business units.

•Ensure daily production goals are achieved to support on-time completion of orders for our internal and external customers.

•Manage and develop Area Leaders and Production employees to build a high-performing team.

• 40% strategic focus, 60% tactical focus.

• Performs additional duties as assigned by management or required by the position.


What We're Looking For

· Must have 5-10 years of manufacturing experience and 5-7+ of leadership experience.

· Bachelor's Degree preferred.

· Proven experience leading mixed-model assembly operations preferred.

· Strong understanding and practical application of manufacturing methodologies.

· Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and team development skills.

· Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; including Word, Excel, etc.

· Must have experience managing multiple production lines, departments or business units.
