Lead Commodity Export Transload Coordinator

We are seeking an Export Logistics Coordinator to support daily operations at our transloading facility in Charleston, SC. This role is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory and documentation, and supporting export logistics through administrative and analytical tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to collaborate effectively with drivers, plant teams, and corporate logistics to ensure efficient and compliant movement of goods.

Responsibilities:

  • Receives and verifies all inbound orders and accompanying paperwork for products entering the facility.
  • Collaborate with the corporate logistics team and drivers to coordinate inbound schedules and deliveries.
  • Maintains accurate inventory levels using tracking spreadsheets and performs data entry into SAP.
  • Organizes and manages the labeling and storage of inbound and outbound export samples, ensuring timely shipments to the lab or other designated destinations as requested by the corporate team.
  • Maintains, reports, and monitors accurate inventory records for the Transload warehouse.
  • Schedules and coordinates export bookings and container loading according to the outbound schedule provided by the corporate team. Arranges fumigation and drayage services as needed.
  • Operates analytical equipment in the onsite lab efficiently and accurately, reporting results promptly to the corporate team and management.
  • Answers phones and provides clerical support to various departments as needed.
  • Conducts oneself professionally, demonstrating decorum and respect, and consistently representing JBS values.
  • Maintains open and effective communication with management and the corporate team.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with bulk commodity strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience in accounting, clerical, or administrative roles preferred.
  • Strong computer and spreadsheet skills; experience with SAP and Microsoft Office strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in accounting or accounting support functions is an asset.
  • Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

  • Base salary range of $21,00-$24,50;
  • Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
