As the National Sea Logistics Development Manager, Export, you will serve as Kuehne+Nagel Canada's subject matter expert for export ocean freight, driving the strategy, development, and growth of our national export program. This highly visible role sits at the intersection of sales, trade management, pricing, carrier partnerships, and customer engagement, with responsibility for identifying new opportunities, strengthening strategic relationships, and enhancing our position across Canada's export landscape. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will help shape the future of our export business while delivering exceptional value to customers and supporting sustainable commercial growth.
How you create impact
  • Develop and execute the national export growth strategy for Kuehne+Nagel Canada.
  • Serve as the organization's subject matter expert for export ocean freight and containerized cargo across Canadian markets.
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue opportunities that drive export volume growth, profitability, and customer retention.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with ocean carriers, rail providers, customers, industry partners, and overseas stakeholders.
  • Partner with Sales, Pricing, Trade Management, and Customer Care teams to deliver competitive and innovative customer solutions.
  • Provide market intelligence, trade lane insights, and industry expertise to support business development initiatives and commercial decision-making.

The target base salary range for this position is between CAD $90,000 and $113,000. Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and dental benefits, a retirement savings plan, and tuition reimbursement. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
