Job description

Our firm is recruiting for a Field Service Technician for a full time job at a leading machinery equipment integrator.

As a leader in the material handling industry, our client continues to provide experience, knowledge, and dedication to remain at the forefront of the industry. Our client offers an extensive list of standard products, as well as the knowledge and flexibility to quickly design custom projects. Roots date back to the 1940’s, and lately has seen explosive growth over the past 5 years and expects to see this trend continue for years to come.

Position Summary:

The Field Service Technician is responsible for installation, training and ongoing support of new and installed equipment. This position is the primary interface between the company and their customers after a machine has shipped. In addition, when not traveling to customer sites, the Field Service Technician will check out and test new machines prior to shipping from the corporate headquarters.

Desired Background:

  • Field service / technician /customer service experience
  • Working knowledge of the mechanical and electrical systems of machinery
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
  • Ability to work flexible schedule and travel (up to 75%, M-F) Primarily domestic travel, occasionally international.
