Job description

Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Operator (Lathes) to join our client's growing team in Landenberg, PA. Candidates will be responsible for the daily operation of CNC lathe machines, producing precision metal parts in quantities ranging from 50 to 50,000 pieces.
- Operate CNC Swiss-type lathes to manufacture precision parts according to production requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate machining and adherence to specifications.
- Perform quality inspections using precision measuring tools and make tooling or offset adjustments to maintain part quality and tolerances.
- Conduct basic machine maintenance, maintain production records, and collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and processes.
Requirements:
- Operate CNC lathes and Swiss screw machines
- Experience with digital micrometers and digital indicators (optical comparator experience a plus)
- Perform close tolerance machining to meet exacting specifications (tolerances .0005"-.002" )
