Barkaritaville Pet Resort of San Antonio, TX is looking to hire a Part-Time Customer Service Specialist to provide 5-star service that gets people talking and tails wagging. ABOUT BARKARITAVILLE PET RESORT
We are a full-service, state-of-the-art, pet resort in San Antonio, TX which was created and designed to provide a stress-free, home-like, and fun environment for pets. We offer lodging, grooming, daycare, and training. We are locally owned and managed with 25+ years of experience in the pet industry. Whether for a day or a whole vacation, each pet's stay is tailored to their needs and preferences.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST
As a Customer Service Specialist, you arrive each day doggedly determined to provide quality and efficient customer service to each and every client--both two-legged and four-legged. As the first point of contact for most of our services, you play an essential role in establishing trust with both current and future clients. You are always professional as you take reservations, answer questions, and resolve concerns both in person and over the phone.
As you check animals in for services, you greet clients warmly, listen carefully, and ensure that each pet parent's instructions and needs are addressed. You handle client billing and daily cash reports with attention to detail and accuracy. Since pet care is the core of our operations, you also assist with all aspects of pet care as needed. You thrive in this busy, fast-paced environment where there are always pets and people to interact with, as well as phones to answer.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service Experience 3+years
  • Ability to multi-task well
  • Handle fast paced environment
  • Phone skills
  • Computer literacy with ability to use in-house software, Microsoft Office
  • Ability to learn and remember information accurately
  • Ability to handle animals in a humane and gentle manner at all times
  • Passion for people and pets

Previous experience at a pet resort or similar environment is a plus but not necessarily required. Do you have a positive, can-do attitude? Are you a team player? Are you reliable, dependable, and punctual? Do you have excellent communication skills? Are you highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively? CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST WORK SCHEDULE
Since stability is important for animals, little or no absenteeism is extremely important. Our front office hours are 7:00 am to 6:00 pm on M-F, Every other Saturday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday for scheduled pick-ups from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm).
Flexible schedule 20-30 hours a week Part-Time. Must be available before Holidays and Weekends as they are our busiest time.
