Job description

About the Position

The Golden State Warriors are looking for a part-time Assistant, Game Experience to help us build high-caliber content at Chase Center that sets the industry standard. In this role, you will assist with the creation, production, and execution of all game experience assets during our home games. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory of props, equipment, and giveaways and partner with floor managers, game night staff, and Warriors team members on other game experience projects. This position reports to the Manager, Game Presentation.

This is a part-time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the game experience team with producing and implementing game experience elements for each home game and other basketball-related shows
  • Assist with game day logistics for all part-time in-arena presentation staff (including emcee, public address announcers, entertainment teams, interactive team, DJs, etc) and coordinate relevant PA reads, graphics, and inventory for corresponding rundowns
  • Assist in the ideation and brainstorming of in-game entertainment content for each game including videos, graphics, contests, on-court presentations and live entertainment
  • Assist with logistics for the National Anthem, halftime, and in-game performers (travel, accommodations, credentials, dressing room, catering, tickets, etc. as needed)
  • Support game day entertainment staff (e.g, Dub Squad, Warriors Dance Teams, Emcees, and other game night entertainers as needed)
  • Research external talent/acts to perform at Warriors home games during in-game breaks and/or pre-game moments
  • Maintain and organize departmental inventory of necessary props, equipment and giveaway items
  • Support communication for talent appearance requests (PAA, emcees, interactive team, etc.)
  • Assists in maintaining up-to-date game experience documents
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1 year of event presentation experience preferably in sports entertainment or content programming
  • Good understanding of talent, pop culture, and an appreciation for music and performance arts
  • Excellent attention to detail, and ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate, influence, and build positive relationships with peers at all levels

Time Commitment

  • Ability to have a flexible schedule and work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays throughout the season

Compensation

  • $20.00 Per Hour
