POSITION SUMMARY
The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean and orderly guest rooms,
restocking amenities, and reporting any maintenance issues to ensure a high standard of
service. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a guest-focused attitude to

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Housekeeping Responsibilities
โ€ข Provide a clean and safe environment for guests by cleaning and maintaining guest
rooms and common areas.
โ€ข Vacuum carpets, dust furniture, clean floors, and ensure all surfaces meet
cleanliness standards.
โ€ข Collect dirty linens and transport them to the laundry area, delivering fresh linens to
room attendant carts as needed.
โ€ข Restock guest room amenities, including towels, soaps, and toiletries.
โ€ข Respond to guest requests in a timely manner, such as delivering extra linens or
items from the front desk.
โ€ข Assist with deep cleaning and organization of common areas and maintain the
lobby functions.
โ€ข Report any safety, maintenance, or housekeeping concerns to management.
โ€ข Adhere to lost and found procedures, guest safety protocols, and hotel policies.
โ€ข Acknowledge and greet guests in public spaces, anticipating and addressing their
needs.
General Responsibilities
โ€ข Ensure efficient completion of daily room cleaning assignments in a timely manner.
โ€ข Use supplies and equipment responsibly, reporting any shortages or issues to
management.
โ€ข Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with guests and team members.
โ€ข Follow established schedules and support other departments as needed,
performing additional tasks assigned by management.
โ€ข Comply with hotel safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a secure environment
for guests and staff.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
โ€ข Must be able to stand for extended periods, frequently moving within and about the
facility.
โ€ข Ability to carry or lift items weighing up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 200 lbs.
โ€ข Must frequently handle objects and equipment necessary for cleaning and
maintenance tasks.
โ€ข Basic reading and writing skills for understanding assignments, checklists, and
guest requests.
โ€ข Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
