The Work:
The Bulgarian Air Force has F-16 Block 70 Training System (TS) at Graf Ignatievo Air Base, consisting of one Full Mission Trainer (FMT), three Weapons Tactics Trainers (WTT), one Instructor - Operator Station (IOS), and one Brief/Debrief Station (BDS) The TS will provide full capability to accomplish new pilot training, pilot conversion training, upgrade training, advanced skills training (e.g., flight lead, instructor pilot, mission commander, etc.), and networked capable training scenarios to meet all F-16 Block 70 training requirements.
This is an expatriate (EXPAT) role which will be located at Graf Ignatievo Air Base, Bulgaria with a duration of One year. Normal work schedule is a flex 40-hour week Monday - Friday.
Individual duties and responsibilities of the Field Service Representative include:
Perform maintenance, upgrades, and testing activities of the TS to maintain system availability rate
Prepare / deliver a monthly Contract Field Service Report to document all accomplished work
Perform maintenance on the TS to include preventative, scheduled, and unscheduled
Perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance,
including corrosion control
Perform unscheduled emergency maintenance to restore
TS availability
Coordinate the repair and tracking of returned support equipment, test equipment, components, parts, and accessories
Execute testing of repaired components for reinsertion into spares inventory
Record and track maintenance actions, spares and repair parts usage, and vendor repairs
Act as the liaison through which information related to maintenance, operational problems, and issues can quickly be communicated back to relevant stakeholders for resolution
Demonstrate good safety and quality assurance practices
Ensure the TS is properly configured and available to support scheduled training on specified dates and times
Comply with all applicable and appropriate corporate policies and procedures
Maintain contractor work areas in a neat and orderly manner
Interact/coordinate with Bahrain personnel on a daily/weekly basis to ensure technical expectations are met
Review daily pre- and post- operational reports, parts requests, maintenance action forms, issue forms, parts receipts, failure reports, and other administrative reports
Execute other duties as assigned
