Flexibility is key - you'll work a variable threeday schedule, rotate among four TriHealth sites (Clifton, Finneytown, Anderson, Western Ridge), and participate in limited weekend oncall coverage (8am - 12noon).

The tech assists the pt. in getting ready for the test: applies electrodes, may need to take vital signs, watches the monitor, etc

Notifies R.N. for any abnormalities in heart rhythm. The tech will apply Holter monitors and assist with daily paperwork for testing department

Displays Service Excellence and has strong interpersonal skills. Cognizant of cardiac abnormalities. Will perform EKGs.

Job Responsibilities: Demonstrates clinical competency. Explain procedures, properly apply electrodes, watch the monitor during exercise and aware of any cardiac abnormalities. Prepares room, cleans up.

Demonstrates Service Excellence values to all customers. Is kind, helpful, and courteous to points. Displays teamwork efforts with other staff.

Demonstrates flexibility. Helps ensure proper testing. Helps patients get started on time, minimizes delays if possible.

Makes the bed, stocks supplies. May also perform EKG's, apply Holters, etc. Performs proper protocol.

Charges, files as needed. May assist in other cardiology duties. Recognized emergency situations and acts appropriately.
