Position Title: Exercise Science and Sport Management Operations Coordinator
Department: Exercise Science and Sport Management
Reports To: Dr. Jacob Parson, Assistant Professor of Exercise Science and Director of SU Wellness Institute
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The EXSI Operations Coordinator supports essential day-to-day functions of the Department of Exercise Science and Sport Management, assisting with operations, communication, and event coordination.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Day-to-day operations & administrative support
  • Event planning & coordination
  • Department social media management
  • Supplies inventory & purchasing coordination
  • Travel planning assistance
  • Website updates & content management
  • Department meeting coordination (scheduling, agendas, notes)

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED EXPECTATIONS
Note: Responsibilities may flex week-to-week based on departmental priorities (e.g., heavier event or travel weeks).
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Be enrolled as full-time student at Schreiner University.
