Exercise Interns typically are students or entry-level individuals gaining experience in fitness environments, often working under supervision. An exercise intern can be active by consistently engaging in assigned tasks, demonstrating enthusiasm, and seeking feedback to improve skills. Staying organized, punctual, and proactive in learning new techniques or tools also helps maintain activity and growth during the internship.

Do PT interns get paid?

Physical therapy (PT) intern positions are often unpaid or offer stipends, depending on the program and organization. Some internships may provide compensation or academic credit, but many are unpaid learning experiences designed to develop skills and gain practical experience in a clinical setting.

How much do sports interns make?

Sports interns typically earn between $10 and $15 per hour, depending on the organization, location, and level of experience. Some internships may be unpaid or offer stipends, especially in competitive or volunteer-based programs. Compensation can also vary based on whether the internship is part-time or full-time and if it provides academic credit or other benefits.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Exercise Intern, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Exercise Intern, you need a solid understanding of exercise science, anatomy, and physiology, often supported by coursework in kinesiology or related fields.
