Napa Event Concessionaire - Staff Accountant

Napa, CA

Job Description:

Napa Event Concessionaire is offering an exciting opportunity to work in the entertainment industry in downtown Napa. The ideal candidate is comfortable with a flexible schedule up to 40 hours per week and may need to work an occasional weekend day.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cash management – Prepare and make deposits

• Process accounts payable

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly

• Create financial statements monthly

• Manage and track contracted event payment needs

• Complete artist tax withholding and payments

• Process event costs

• Assist with employee timekeeping

• Assist with onboarding and training

• Special projects as needed

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well on a team as well as independently.

• Proficient in Excel and QuickBooks, and comfortable processing payables

• Experience in multiple entity accounting

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Proven ability to be highly productive working independently

• 3 to 5 years of prior accounting experience

• Detail-oriented with commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting

• Proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvements
