This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit, which develops Blue Origin's Blue Moon landers and related products. To further Blue Origin's mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth, we are building sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.
As an Executive Assistant supporting the Lunar business unit, you'll provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the leadership team, helping coordinate business priorities and cadences. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and dedication to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Executive support - Work closely and effectively with senior management to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately. Exercise good judgment while maintaining a realistic balance among multiple priorities. Review and prioritize executive requests and emails to ensure highest priority tasks are addressed in a timely fashion.
  • Calendar - Manage an extremely active calendar of appointments. Plan, coordinate, and ensure the schedule is followed and respected. Provide gatekeeper and gateway role, creating win-win situations for direct access to executives.
  • Travel - Arrange complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; compile documents for travel-related meetings. Complete expense reports timely, following, and enforcing policy. Domestic and international travel is expected.
  • Event Planning: Plan and organize team events including leadership off-site and team building events and program reviews. Ensuring alignment with strategic objectives while maintaining a lean execution budget.
  • Meeting Facilitation - Lead the preparation and facilitate large attendance meetings for the organization, including Ask Me Anything, Town Halls, and All Staff meetings.
  • Organization - Using strong organizational skills, perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail. Prioritize conflicting needs. Handle matters expeditiously and proactively, following through on requirements to successful completion, often with deadline pressures. Adapt to competing demands in a fast-moving environment.
  • Personnel -
  • Cross Collaboration - Using strong interpersonal skills, build relationships with stakeholders to expedite operations within the organization. Partner with stakeholders, including other EA's and other Business Units to break down communication barriers.
  • Writing & Editing - Compose and prepare draft documents and correspondence that are sometimes confidential. Review customer facing white papers and proposals for quality and grammar.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong work tenure: 5 -7 years of experience supporting senior level executives.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point),
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and high customer service capabilities and delivery
  • Administrative skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills. A bias for action.
  • Emotional maturity; positive, low-stress behavior, in words and actions.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Base Pay Range for:
