We are looking for a highly technical, customer-focused US Technical Sales Executivewho thrives at the intersection of engineering, product strategy, and complex solution selling. This is not a traditional sales support role, this is a strategic technical leadership position that reports to the VP of AD&S and works side-by-side with our customers to solve their problems, hopefully with ScioTeq solutions.

The US Technical Sales Executive supports the Sales and Product Management organization in complex solution selling by providing in-dept technical expertise and a hands-on mentality. In addition, the position develops a strong relationship with the engineering department of the important customers and strategic projects, as well as internally, to discuss and analyze independent possible solutions for the customer’s complex problems and needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary technical interface between customers and internal teams during strategic pursuits and active programs
  • Build strong working relationships with customer engineering, systems architecture, and program management organizations
  • Lead technical discovery discussions to understand customer requirements, operational challenges, and integration constraints
  • Support customer meetings, demonstrations, technical interchange meetings (TIMs), trade shows, and program reviews
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear customer value propositions
  • Analyze customer requirements and help define optimal technical architectures and product configurations
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams to identify product gaps, enhancements, and roadmap opportunities
  • Assist in defining system-level solutions involving hardware, software, networking, display management, cybersecurity, and open architectures
  • Support technical risk analysis and mitigation planning during pursuit activities
  • Lead development of technical proposal content, compliance matrices, solution descriptions, and technical responses
  • Support US government, prime contractor, and defense-related proposal efforts, including US-eyes-only opportunities
  • Provide voice-of-customer feedback to influence future product development
  • Mentor junior sales engineers and support the development of technical sales best practices
  • Adhere to company procedures and instructions to contribute to the effectiveness of the quality and environmental management system and to minimize environmental impact

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in: Sales Engineering, Systems Engineering, Product Management or Aerospace & Defense technical sales
  • Strong technical understanding of one or more of the following: Mission displays, Open architectures (MOSA/SOSA), Ruggedized electronics
  • Experience supporting complex technical proposals and customer pursuits
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both engineering teams and executive leadership
  • Strong presentation, writing, and technical communication skills
  • Ability to travel internationally and domestically as required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting US defense programs or prime contractors
  • Experience with government procurement environments, OTA programs, or defense acquisition processes
  • Knowledge of AI-enabled systems, edge computing, or advanced visualization technologies
  • Conversational in French
