Rutgers Business School -Newark & New Brunswick (RBS) is a two-campus business school with a presence in both Rutgers University - New Brunswick and Rutgers University-Newark.
This position is responsible for and not limited to the following:
  • Oversee the professional mentoring of RBS students, student leadership programs, or any other student programs as assigned at Rutgers Business School in Newark and New Brunswick.
  • Reporting to the Director of SEER, the Senior Program Coordinator will organize, implement, and continuously improve mentoring and leadership development initiatives that connect students with alumni and corporate partners.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, recruitment and communications, mentor/mentee matching logistics, event planning, and data tracking for the program for which they are responsible.
  • This position will prepare semester and annual reports, and collaborate across RBS and university offices to deliver high-quality experiences that advance student engagement and professional development.

Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates knowledge of program design and execution, coordination, communication, data collection, and reporting.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in program coordination or administrative functions in higher education, student development, alumni relations, or a related setting.

  • Three to five (3-5) years of relevant experience, preferably in higher education, alumni/corporate engagement or early talent initiatives.
  • Experience coordinating mentoring programs, student leadership initiatives, corporate partner engagement or early talent initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Rutgers systems (e.g., Affinaquest, CVENT) and basic budget/expense tracking in an academic setting.
  • Experience with CRM or engagement platforms and with developing data dashboards and program assessments.
  • Familiarity with Chronus or a mentoring system.
