Senior Client Manager, Executive Risk – Job Description

Position Summary

Responsible for providing external support to clients for an assigned book of business, while directing internal client service resources. This role collaborates with Sales, Client Executives, and internal teams to deliver comprehensive Property & Casualty solutions, ensuring client needs are met and existing business is retained and grown. The position operates as both a strategic advisor and hands-on service leader responsible for client satisfaction, program execution, and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Leadership & Ownership

·         Serves as the primary client contact for an assigned book of business, leading the design, communication, and execution of Property & Casualty programs.

·         Provides direction to internal client service team members to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.

·         Acts as a subject matter expert in risk assessment, coverage design, and carrier engagement.

Hands-On Execution & Delivery

·         Performs risk assessments to identify client exposures and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.

·         Compiles underwriting data and markets accounts to carrier partners to secure optimal coverage and pricing.

·         Executes day-to-day service activities including endorsements, certificates, billing support, and coverage inquiries.

·         Leads onboarding of new clients, ensuring compliance standards and data accuracy.

Reporting, Quality & Operational Support

·         Ensures all client deliverables are accurate, timely, and aligned with service expectations.

·         Manages proposals, contract reviews, and binding communications.

·         Coordinates stewardship reporting to communicate value delivered to clients.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Integration

·         Partners with Sales and Client Executives to support new business, retention, and growth goals.

·         Maintains strong relationships with carriers, underwriters, and internal stakeholders.

·         Collaborates across teams to deliver the Client Service Deliverable model.

Growth, Change & Special Initiatives

·         Supports growth initiatives and participates in strategic client planning.

·         Represents the organization in client meetings, carrier meetings, and industry events.

·         Leads or contributes to special projects and team initiatives.

Process Improvement & Best Practices

·         Identifies opportunities to improve workflows, service delivery, and operational efficiency.

·         Stays current on industry trends, carrier appetites, and regulatory changes.

·         Supports training and development of team members and may mentor new employees.

Accountability

·         Retaining and growing client relationships through exceptional service delivery.

·         Delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality insurance solutions.

·         Maintaining strong carrier and client relationships.

·         Ensuring compliance with agency standards and industry requirements.

Qualifications

Required

·         Property & Casualty License.

·         5–10+ years of commercial lines experience.

·         Prior client management and P&C support experience.

·         Strong relationship management and communication skills.

·         Ability to work independently and execute with minimal oversight.

Preferred

·         Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required).

·         Advanced industry designations or continuing education.
