Job Description

The Account Executive manages the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation through negotiations and closing, to drive new business and revenue growth. They work closely with Account Managers to identify and pursue upsell opportunities while ensuring a smooth transition for ongoing account support. This role typically oversees a portfolio of small to medium sized client accounts, building relationships, and tailoring solutions to meet customer needs. 

What You'll Do

  • Manage relationships with clients and lead efforts to grow revenue and increase sales (current & new products)  
  • Engage with and deliver quotes to new clients by phone and email  
  • Grow company by closing new leads that come in each month  
  • Re-engage older clients that may no longer work with Inhabit  
  • Engage with software provider account managers so they continue to send us new leads  
  • Perform online demos for new potential clients  
  • Utilize marketing skills via new mediums like LinkedIn, Facebook or Instagram  
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors  
  • Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand  
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed  
  • Create reports to analyze data and present to management 
  • Log and track all activity on CRM software

Experience and Education Requirements  

  • Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s degree is preferred 
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in sales preferably in the property management or vacation rental industry  
  • Excellent communication skills including fundamental presentation skills and the ability to articulate ideas clearly and appropriately to influence others  
  • Technologically savvy with the ability to give online demos and showcase the Inhabit platform 
  • Proven track record of sales achievement with an aggressive drive to achieve high targets; results oriented  
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making  
  • Accountability and commitment to excellence  
  • Energetic phone presence and excellent active listening skills  
  • Strong interpersonal skills & the ability to influence external/internal stakeholders  
  • Future-forward thinker who is comfortable bridging the gap between traditional property management mindsets and the future of their business

  • Ability to take initiative and work autonomously while staying available to other team members  
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% is required
