Position Summary: The Recruiter is responsible for driving full-cycle recruitment for SIG SAUER, Inc., supporting both high-volume and specialty talent acquisition efforts, including executive-level recruitment. This role serves as a key partner to the Manager, Recruitment, offering guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members while helping lead strategic initiatives and continuous process improvements. The Recruiter is expected to proactively identify top talent, manage complex searches, and deliver a best-in-class candidate experience in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. This role requires 5+ years of experience in recruitment, with a strong track record of success managing full-cycle searches, including executive and specialized roles. The Recruiter collaborates with supervisors and managers within SIG and works closely with internal and external applicants as well as external recruiting partners.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Guide hiring teams through structured interview processes and ensure alignment and consistency in candidate evaluation.
  • Mentor and support less experienced Recruiters and Coordinators; provide coaching and share best practices.
  • Partner with the Manager, Recruitment to develop, implement, and optimize talent acquisition strategies that align with business goals.
  • Represent the Talent Acquisition team in cross-functional meetings and contribute to departmental projects, process improvements, and technology implementations.
  • Lead or participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for a wide range of roles, including technical, niche, and executive-level positions across SIG SAUER's business units.
  • Conduct thorough intake meetings with hiring managers to define ideal candidate profiles, hiring timelines, and interview processes.
  • Develop custom sourcing strategies using a variety of tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, industry-specific platforms, talent communities, executive search techniques).
  • Manage sensitive and confidential executive-level searches with professionalism and discretion.
  • Collaborate with HRBPs on internal mobility, workforce planning, and succession strategies.
  • Review internal compensation data, benchmarks, and external data to make offer recommendations and secure approval. Extend job offers and manage communication with candidate until new hire orientation.
  • Contribute to the evolution and effectiveness of the applicant tracking system (ATS) and maintain data integrity.
  • Effectively communicate candidate statuses and deliver offers with enthusiasm and rejections with professionalism and empathy, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Provide regular updates to hiring managers, HRBPs, Compensation, Strategic Programs, and the CHRO.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, delivering market insights, talent availability trends, and competitive intelligence.
  • Lead and support college, trade school, military, and diversity recruiting efforts, including events and partnerships.
  • Provide weekly and ad hoc recruiting metrics and dashboards to stakeholders; analyze data to drive informed decisions.
  • Ensure that all recruiting practices meet compliance standards and align with state/federal employment laws.
  • Ability to travel when required.
  • Communicate effectively to supervision regarding problems and corrective action.
  • Engage in Continuous Improvement projects/tasks.
  • Participate in and sustain 5S Standards.
  • Must follow all required Safety and ISO procedures.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Education/Experience & Skills:
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. 5+ years of experience in recruitment, with a strong track record of success managing full-cycle searches, including executive and specialized roles. Proven experience working in a high-growth or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Expertise in ATS platforms, sourcing tools, job boards, and recruitment marketing.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; able to build strong relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Strong understanding of recruiting compliance, labor laws, and equal employment opportunity regulations.
  • Data savvy with experience in recruiting analytics, KPIs, and storytelling through metrics.
  • Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to balance competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment technologies, including applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other sourcing tools. Solid experience in managing applicant tracking systems, job board platforms and candidate sourcing solutions.
  • Must be able to clearly, concisely, and accurately convey ideas and information to others, both verbally and in written form.
  • Able to work with and communicate with all levels of management.
  • Able to operate independently at a high level and complete tasks in a timely manner. Prioritize tasks based on business needs.
    Working Conditions:
    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks.
    • Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist, lift and move files.
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
    • Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
    • Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. Security Mandates.
