The Account Executive, Corrections division is a sales role with an emphasis on lead generation and relationship building within the corrections industry. You will set appointments with and present Securitas Technology commercial electronic security products and services to correctional facilities, courthouses, judicial centers, and public safety facilities.


Essential Functions:

The Account Executive – Corrections is responsible for driving new business growth and expanding market share within correctional environments. This role requires a strong hunter mentality paired with the ability to build, manage, and sustain long term relationships with correctional leaders and stakeholders. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and possesses exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

A strong background in selling to corrections/judicial facilities/public safety and electronic security sales is essential, with the ability to consult, present, and deliver integrated solutions tailored to correctional facilities. These solutions include video surveillance, monitoring systems, door and access control, perimeter defense, intercom and duress systems, utility control, and inmate and visitor movement tracking. The Account Executive - Corrections will lead the sales process from prospecting through close while ensuring solutions align with the unique operational, safety, and compliance needs of correctional facilities. The Account Executive – Correction will be tasked with contacting architects, security consultants and end users to provide education and demonstration of Securitas Technology’s products.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales to correctional facilities
  • Prior experience selling and delivering services and solutions specifically within correctional facilities, including jails, prisons, and related justice environments.
  • Successful and proven cold calling, networking, and lead generation experience
  • Proven negotiation acumen
  • Generate detailed price quotations and Scope of Work
  • Attend key trade shows as an exhibitor
  • Manage Sales Pipeline and Opportunities in CRM
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement comprehensive service/account outsourcing strategies
  • Availability for extensive travel within assigned territory
  • Ability to work individually and in a team environment
