GENERAL PURPOSE:

  • The Account Executive is responsible for growing new and existing client accounts to achieve sales goals and quotas. This role is ideal for candidates with sign company experience-preferably in signage sales-or, alternatively, construction sales or project management experience. The successful candidate will be highly driven, skilled in prospecting and lead qualification.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct sales presentations and demonstrations of YESCO products and services to new and existing customers.
  • Prospect, qualify, and develop leads to create new opportunities and expand market penetration.
  • Build, maintain, and foster strong relationships with external clients and internal support teams.
  • Use AI and other design tools to create professional signage renderings and visual presentations for customers.
  • Interpret and review blueprints, construction plans, and site drawings to ensure feasibility and compliance with client requirements.
  • Assist with pulling permits and navigating municipal regulations as required for project execution.
  • Overcome objections and negotiate solutions with prospective customers.
  • Emphasize product/service features, benefits, pricing, and terms to support closing deals.
  • Manage call schedule and territory efficiently to maximize sales coverage.
  • Leverage marketing and sales management software to track leads, opportunities, and sales performance.

MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform other functions as necessary or assigned.

NATURE OF WORK CONTACTS:

  • Interact with businesses and organizations requiring identification, signage, or construction solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal project managers, estimators, and support teams to ensure seamless project execution.

TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • A Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) or (B.S.) from a four-year college or university is preferred, and/or five to seven years of related sales experience; or any combination of education, experience, and training that provides the following knowledge, abilities, and skills:
  • 3+ years of external sales experience, preferably in signage sales; candidates with construction sales or project management experience will also be considered
  • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Professional demeanor, polished presentation skills, and strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Experience in opportunity qualification, pre-visit planning, call control, account development, and time management
  • Success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision makers
  • Strong problem-solving and objection resolution skills
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and internal teams
  • Self-motivated, high-energy, goal-driven, with an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • Ability to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, construction plans, and project drawings
  • Familiarity with pulling permits and understanding municipal regulations
  • Previous signage experience preferred, including knowledge of materials, finishes, and local codes associated with on-premise advertising
  • Proficiency using AI and design tools to create renderings and visual presentations
