Job description

Armed Security Responder

Armed Security Responder is needed in Jeffersonville, OH

FT/1st Shift/Mon-Fri - $24.46/hr - Weekly Pay

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have current OPOTA certification
  • Military and/or law enforcement experience preferred
  • Must pass criminal background check and drug test, including marijuana
Responsibilities:
  • Provide appropriate response to all emergency incidents involving client associates, contractors, and facilities.
  • Provide direction and guidance on operational and security protocols to all security personnel.
  • Respond to all panic alarm activations.
  • Proficiency in all onsite emergency procedures.
  • Manage confidential information and documentation to comply with client, state, and federal regulations.
  • Assist in the setting up of an incident command and liaison with local authorities in the event of an incident.
  • Provide after-hour support to client associates and facilities.
  • Assist management and associates by serving as a resource and information source concerning workplace violence concerns.
  • Conduct and assist with both internal and external investigations.
  • Conduct license plate and background checks.
  • Provide executive protection services.
  • Provide trained investigative support using industry best practices.
  • Manage K9 services as requested.
  • Ensuring all incident reporting documentation is completed in the client approved incident case management system in a timely and legible manner.
  • Build strong client relationships through proactive professional interaction.
  • Maintain certification and licensing to ensure compliance with state firearm regulations, as applicable.
  • Cover locations without response coverage (rove).
  • Ordering of all armed response equipment and uniforms.
  • Scheduling and record keeping for all training courses and certificates.
  • Provide new hire initial training (two weeks) for armed hires before going to site specific training.
  • Send monthly, quarterly, and yearly numbers to client and Genric for response team.
  • Data entry, upkeep, and distribution for all restrictions for all locations.
  • Suggest and implement any approved improvements in security procedures.
  • To highlight equipment deficiencies or potential improvements.
  • To carry out other assigned instructions as required.
