Position Title: Account Executive

Reports To: SVP Sales / President

Department: Sales

Classification: Exempt


General Summary

Annually responsible for leading client negotiations and investments across our three platforms: WAPA-TV, WAPA Deportes, and WAPA Digital. Ensures contract compliance according to negotiated agreements and proposals coordinated with clients, including communication with production teams to execute final deliverables. Maintains or grows existing accounts while developing new business opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Manage client negotiations/investments across WAPA-TV, WAPA Deportes, and WAPA Digital.

- Develop negotiation strategies with SVP Sales aligned with market share goals.

- Establish work plans to meet client objectives.

- Coordinate presentations with agencies and clients.

- Confirm negotiations with SVP Sales.

- Ensure contracts are correctly entered and aligned with reports.

- Prepare proposals for clients.

- Coordinate productions and integrations.

- Develop media plans and campaign schedules.

- Present proposals to clients.

- Manage make-goods.

- Conduct follow-ups with clients and agencies.

- Coordinate meetings and logistics.

- Represent Wapa Media in recordings and events.

- Support Finance with billing and payments.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.


Position Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

- 5+ years of sales experience.

- Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish).

- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

- Knowledge of marketing trends.

- Proficiency in MS Office.

- Leadership and business acumen.


Physical Demands

- 50% office work and 50% field work (meetings and client visits).
