Executive Prolaw Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the firm’s financial operations, including accounting, billing, payroll, financial planning, and analysis
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and provide strategic insights to senior management
• Supervise and mentor the accounting and billing team
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with firm goals
• Monitor cash flow, trust accounting, and compliance with financial controls and regulatory requirements
• Partner with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking institutions
• Evaluate and implement financial systems, reporting tools, and process improvements
• Ensure compliance with industry-specific accounting standards and best practices
• Prepare financial dashboards, KPIs, and profitability analysis for firm leadership
• Collaborate closely with the Managing Partner, COO, and department heads on financial strategy

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
• Minimum 7+ years of accounting/finance experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role within a law firm
• Strong understanding of law firm billing systems, trust accounting, and matter management
• Proficiency in legal industry financial software (e.g., Aderant, ProLaw, Elite, or similar)
• Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills
• High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
