A well-established insurance defense firm in the heart of Brickell is looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Insurance Defense Paralegal to join its growing team. What You'll Do

  • Support attorneys through every phase of insurance defense litigation, from intake through trial
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and trial documents
  • Manage case files, deadlines, and court calendars with precision
  • Summarize medical records, depositions, and key case documents
  • Coordinate with clients, experts, court reporters, and opposing counsel
  • E-file in state and federal courts across Florida
  • Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and witness materials
  • Keep cases moving — anticipate what attorneys need before they ask

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of paralegal experience in insurance defense or civil litigation
  • Strong knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and e-filing systems
  • Experience with case management software (Clio, Filevine, ProLaw, or similar)
  • Excellent writing, organization, and communication skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple cases and deadlines without losing the thread
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a strong plus
  • Paralegal certificate or relevant degree preferred
