Role Overview
We are seeking a high-caliber, results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead complex, moderate-to-large impact initiatives within our program portfolio. This is a leadership-intensive role designed for an individual who does more than track tasks; you will lead cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders through the full project lifecycle. Utilizing a structured, rigorous project management methodology, you will be responsible for the initiation, planning, execution, and closure of concurrent projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
• Active Leadership: Lead project teams and interface directly with customer executives to drive decision-making and project momentum. Foster strong, high-trust relationships with internal contributors and external partners.
• Project Initiation: Collaborate with Project Owners to define requirements, facilitate sessions with executive stakeholders to develop the Project Charter, and assemble matrixed resource teams.
• Rigorous Planning: Develop comprehensive work plans, resource matrices, and communication strategies. Assign individual responsibilities and adjust plans dynamically to meet evolving project needs.
• Execution & Governance: Direct the day-to-day execution of project tasks while strictly adhering to internal governance processes and toolsets.
• Monitoring & Risk Management: Identify and log project issues, establishing proactive Risk Assessments when project health declines. Develop and communicate strategic solutions to Account Managers and stakeholders.
• Financial Stewardship: Manage project budgets via internal financial reporting tools and provide weekly status reports to management.
• Documentation & Audit: Maintain meticulous project records. Conduct formal Closure Document audits, final project reviews, and turnover meetings to ensure all deliverables are fully realized.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Experience: 5+ years of Program Management experience (experience that goes beyond standard project-level tasks).
• Education: Bachelor's Degree (B.S. or B.A.) preferred.
• Certification: PMP or PMI methodology certification is required.
• Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Project and the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Project Volume: Proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent, complex projects simultaneously to successful completion.
• Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to publish professional meeting minutes and executive summaries under tight deadlines. Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected Veterans
