Job description

Job Summary

As a Services Account Executive (SAE), you are the face of the Professional Services (PS) organization to our clients and our account teams. Your ultimate responsibility is to evangelize and sell our key PS offerings, focusing on Consulting and Managed Services solutions. You will work daily with solution architects, clients, and NetApp account teams to identify customer needs, map appropriate solutions, deliver customer proposals, and secure contracts for these services. You will be assigned and measured on bookings performance for the area you cover.

We are looking for aggressive and experienced sales professionals who feel comfortable speaking with customers on topics such as hybrid cloud, automation, business transformation consulting, data management, and data security. This role requires a self-starter who can set their own schedule, proactively organize their own meetings, and get themselves in front of our field sales organization with compelling messaging for the inclusion of Professional Services in conversations with end customers.

There is ample support in the form of contracts, scoping, and technical teams, but the SAE needs to build relationships with key clients and with NetApp account teams on their own. This can be, at times, a highly unstructured role, so having the ability to manage your own work schedule and workflow is critical. This SAE role is servicing our public sector business,  so experience working with and selling to government customers is key to success in this role.

  • Understanding of professional services contracting or Statement of Work creation and negotiation

  • US Citizenship required
  • BS/BA and a minimum of 8 years of applicable experience; or equivalent combination of related education/training/certifications and relevant industry experience required
  • A minimum of 7 years of applicable industry quota-bearing selling experience required

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 253,300 - 327,800 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. The range is based on 'On Target Earnings' (OTE) representing the total potential earnings, which is the sum of the base salary and potential commission earned when performance targets are achieved. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off, various Leave options, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's). These offerings are subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. We will provide detailed information about the specific benefits for your region during the recruitment process.
