Job description

Studio Science is an experience-led design and innovation firm creating end-to-end digital and customer experience solutions. We're seeking a quota-carrying Account Executive with a background in digital transformation and experience design, who understands how digital experiences are created and can bring that insight into strategic client conversations.

Responsibilities:      

  • Lead the full sales cycle for digital experience and CX design engagements-from discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Translate client challenges into clear, experience-led solutions, drawing on your understanding of digital transformation and experience design.
  • Build trusted client relationships and act as a strategic advisor on digital experience and customer journey needs.
  • Collaborate with delivery leaders to shape scopes, estimates, and engagement approaches that align with Studio Science capabilities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (CX strategists, researchers, designers, content, technologists) to define solution approaches.
  • Drive pipeline growth through prospecting, qualifying, crafting proposals, running workshops, and delivering capabilities presentations.
  • Lead internal handoffs to ensure smooth transitions from sales to delivery and successful client outcomes.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts to extend Studio Science's impact.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and forecasting for leadership.
  • Stay current on digital experience and CX trends to articulate Studio Science's value with clarity and confidence.

Qualifications:

  • Background in digital experience, CX design, or digital agency work, with hands-on exposure to how digital engagements are planned, designed, and delivered.
  • Experience in presales, delivery, consulting, or a similar role that involved client-facing problem solving and solutioning.
  • Either:
    • Ready to step into your first quota-carrying sales role, or
    • Proven success in a quota-carrying sales role with prior experience in technical solutioning.
  • Ability to solution in real time-helping clients define challenges, clarify scope, and shape engagement approaches.
  • Strong understanding of digital experience methods (research, UX/UI, content, CX, design strategy).
  • Familiarity with the martech landscape and modern digital experience platforms; exposure to tools like Optimizely, personalization technologies, or AI-driven experience solutions is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and consultative selling skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust quickly with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to identify opportunities, craft compelling proposals, and drive deals to closure.
  • A proactive, accountable, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset aligned with a fast-moving agency environment.
  • Ability to work remotely and collaborate across time zones; occasional travel to client sites and Indianapolis headquarters.
  • Availability and flexibility to work with global clients across multiple time zones and for occasional travel to client sites and Studio Science headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA for any employer without the need for sponsorship now or anytime in the future
