Job description

The Senior Executive Assistant to the Chief Marketing Officer provides high-level administrative and operational support to ADP's CMO. This role serves as a trusted partner, helping manage priorities, streamline executive operations, and support the rhythm of a complex, fast-paced global marketing organization. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, discretion, executive presence, and the ability to operate effectively across a highly matrixed enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the CMO's complex calendar, including prioritization of meetings, shifting business needs, and coordination across senior leaders and cross-functional partners
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, itineraries, expense reports, and related logistics
  • Prepare briefing materials, agendas, and background information to support the CMO in meetings, presentations, and key decisions
  • Draft, edit, and manage executive correspondence, presentations, and other communications on behalf of the CMO
  • Partner closely with executive assistants and business partners across ADP to ensure strong coordination, alignment, and follow-through
  • Support leadership team meetings, business reviews, offsites, and planning sessions, including logistics, notes, and action tracking
  • Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders interacting with the CMO's office
  • Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of professionalism and discretion
  • Anticipate needs, identify conflicts, and proactively solve problems to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Support special projects, team initiatives, and organizational priorities as needed

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of executive support experience, including experience supporting senior executives or C-level leaders
  • Experience working in a large, complex, matrixed organization
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and calendar management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leaders and key stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly, and remain calm under pressure
  • High degree of discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, collaboration platforms, and travel/expense systems
  • Ability to work independently while building strong partnerships across teams and functions
