Summary:

In this role, you will lead non-acute spend management strategy and execution across assigned client accounts. You will align Vizient solutions to client priorities to drive measurable value, optimize non-labor spend, and support long-term account growth. You will serve as a trusted advisor to client leadership by leveraging data, insights, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver impactful results.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute non-acute account plans aligned to client priorities.

  • Identify and implement initiatives that deliver client value and achieve growth targets.

  • Expand client engagement to support long-term account growth and value realization.

  • Build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, including supply chain and ambulatory leaders and executive sponsors.

  • Advise clients on non-labor spend challenges and maintain ongoing engagement to drive outcomes.

  • Partner across internal teams to deliver a seamless One Vizient experience.

  • Leverage analytics, business intelligence, and market insights to identify opportunities and guide decision-making.

  • Establish and monitor KPIs and communicate value delivered to clients.

  • Drive contract utilization by aligning client spend with agreements and collaborating with distributors and suppliers.

  • Lead business reviews to communicate progress, demonstrate value, and identify future opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Experience in sales, account management, or consultative client-facing roles preferred.

  • Knowledge of healthcare supply chain, GPO environments, and non-acute markets.

  • Strong analytical, presentation, and consultative communication skills with the ability to translate data into client-specific value narratives and executive-level presentations.

  • Experience managing sales pipelines and driving revenue growth initiatives with demonstrated success advancing complex opportunities from discovery through execution and value realization.

  • Proven ability to influence and build credibility with executive-level stakeholders, including C-suite and senior leadership.

  • Working knowledge of Excel and data analysis to synthesize insights and support client recommendations.

  • Must reside in the Southeast region.

  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients' needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
