This role will provide FP&A support across AOP, forecasts, long-range planning, close, reporting, and ad hoc strategic analysis for Disney's games portfolio.

  • Support planning, forecasting, and reporting for games revenue, operating income, cash flow, royalties/participations, external product development, marketing, labor, overhead, and other key P&L drivers.

  • Build and maintain title-level and portfolio-level financial models across mobile, console, PC, and emerging ecosystem opportunities.

  • Update and maintain the Disney Universe financial model, helping the team evaluate the financial impact of key assumptions, deal terms, and commercial levers

  • Prepare variance analysis, KPI reporting, and concise financial commentary for business partners, DE Segment FP&A, and senior leadership.

  • Partner with Games business development, strategy, creative/product, accounting, and regional finance teams to understand assumptions, release timing, partner reporting, deal economics, and risks/opportunities.

  • Assist with consolidation of AOP, forecasts, and long-range plans, including roll-forward analysis, scenario modeling, and executive presentation materials.

  • Support process improvement and reporting automation using Excel, Power BI, Cognos/TM1, and related planning tools.

  • Engage in ad hoc analysis for senior leadership, including title performance, deal support, return analysis, and portfolio prioritization.

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment where release timing, partner assumptions, market dynamics, and strategic priorities can evolve quickly.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role

  • Games P&L planning, forecasting, and long-range planning, including title-level revenue, OI, cash flow, royalties/participations, external PD/marketing, labor, overhead, and variance analysis

  • Management reporting and executive-ready analysis, including monthly/quarterly reporting, KPI tracking, deck support, and concise financial commentary for leadership

  • Consolidation support across DE Games Finance, DE Segment FP&A, accounting, regional finance, and business partners, including forecast submissions and planning tool / Cognos-TM1 support

  • Ad hoc projects, deal and slate analysis, scenario modeling, reporting automation, and FP&A process improvement

Required Education, Experience / Skills / Training
  • 3+ years of finance, accounting, strategic planning, or FP&A experience; media, entertainment, games, licensing, technology, or consumer products experience preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.

  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis skills.

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with the ability to build clear, executive-ready analyses and presentations.

  • Experience with financial reporting/planning systems such as Cognos TM1, SAP/HANA, or similar tools; Power BI experience preferred.

  • Ability to synthesize large data sets, identify key drivers, and communicate financial insights clearly to finance and non-finance audiences.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workstreams, manage tight deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a dynamic environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders and manage expectations.

  • Curiosity and interest in the games business, including title performance, licensing economics, live services, platform dynamics, and portfolio strategy.

Preferences:

  • MBA and/or CPA; Power BI; Cognos TM1; experience supporting licensed IP, games, digital products, or global entertainment businesses.

  • Background working with data using SQL, Python and/or statistical packages.
