JOB LOCATION: ย 2225 E Common St, New Braunfels, TX 78130ย 


SUMMARYย ย 

This position provides high-level, confidential administrative support to the Executive Manager of Operations. Responsibilities include preparing and submitting required reports to state agencies, processing contracts and permits, compiling operational data, coordinating board materials, and supporting additional Operations leadership as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESย ย ย ย 

  • Provide administrative guidance and support to the Executive Manager of Operations.ย 
  • Provide assistance and act as backup to the Utility Accounts Assistant.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions and work products.ย 
  • Coordinate with General Counsel staff to prepare board materials.ย 
  • Prepare and submit reports to the TCEQ Water Master and other state agencies.ย ย 
  • Compile information and complete annual reports for the Texas Water Development Board.ย ย 
  • Receive, track, and process contracts for agricultural water and boat dock permits.ย ย 
  • Draft and manage correspondence for the Executive Manager.ย ย 
  • Manage phone calls, scheduling, and meeting coordination for the Executive Manager.ย ย 
  • Collaborate positively with GBRA staff and maintain professional working relationships.ย ย 
  • Maintain an organized and professional workspace.ย ย 
  • Organize internal and external events or staff meetings.ย 
  • Monitor and help prioritize incoming emails or communications.ย ย 
  • Coordinate signature routing, approvals, or document workflow processes.ย ย 
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned or as business needs change.ย 

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIESย ย 

  • Ability to travel within the service area as needed.ย 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.ย 
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret technical documents.ย
