ROLE: IT Support Analyst
REPORTS TO: IT Manager
LOCATION: Houston, Texas Corporate Office (Onsite)
THE OPPORTUNITY
Join Venterra Realty as an IT Support Analyst in our Houston corporate office, providing user support for both onsite and remote for employees. You will troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, email, Teams, printers, peripherals, onboarding/offboarding, access requests, devices issues, and network connectivity while delivering a responsive, customer-focused support experience.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ticket ownership, face-to-face support, practical problem solving, and exposure to network infrastructure
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitor, triage, manage, and resolve IT support tickets through Jira Service Management or a similar service desk platform.
  • Provide onsite Houston office support and remote support for hardware, software, printers, accessories, conference rooms, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Wi-Fi, VPN, and general connectivity issues.
  • Support onboarding, transfers, offboarding, user accounts, access permissions, shared mailboxes, distribution groups, Teams, SharePoint, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft Intune requests.
  • Assist with device management, application deployment, device compliance, equipment ordering, procurement, asset tracking, and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot networking issues, including, VPN, wired and Wi-Fi, VOIP, firewall symptoms, Internet providers and UniFi Network infrastructure.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support, desktop support, help desk, service desk, technical operations, or a similar role.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with experience supporting Microsoft 365, Entra ID, email, Teams, printers, peripherals, Dell and MS Surface hardware, and user access issues.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory and/or Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, endpoint support, software deployment, device compliance, and basic procurement / asset processes.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi, VLANs, and firewall-related troubleshooting.
  • Strong customer service, communication, patience, problem-solving, follow-through, and growth mindset; comfortable working onsite five days per week in a corporate office environment.
