We are looking for an experienced account executive to lead Health and Benefits client relationships, develop benefits strategy, and lead a team to manage clients' benefits programs.

Your Impact as a Health Solutions Account Executive:
The Health Solutions Account Executive will be a key contributor and leader for mid and large market clients. The role involves responsibility for benefits consulting and vendor management for assigned clients, including placing insurance and coordinating the assigned client team. This position will have frequent interactions with clients' HR, Benefits and Finance executives regarding the delivery of benefits consulting services.
What the day will look like:
  • Develop employee benefits strategies, lead sophisticated benefits consulting projects, manage vendors, develop client reports, lead external meetings and internal resource coordination.
  • Maintain and grow long-term client relationships through excellent service
  • Display an in-depth understanding of the Health and Benefits benefits marketplace, as well as Aon's Health and Benefits practice
  • Participate as needed on internal projects and initiatives that advance the knowledge and skills of Aon's Health and Benefits practice
  • Possess experience and expertise in benefit plan design, rate analysis, strategy, RFP development and response review, insurance carrier negotiations, stewardship report preparation, benchmark analysis, client financial analysis and reporting and carrier contract reviews
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal collaboration skills
  • Exhibit leadership in business judgment in anticipating client/project needs and developing alternative solutions
  • Form effective teams, share client background and goals, measure results, share ideas, identify process improvements, provide timely and regular coaching and feedback to team members
  • Lead all aspects of vendor negotiations and provide coaching to other team members
  • Act as strategic resource for consultants
  • Exhibit thought leadership-understand and be able to articulate ideas to clients
  • Be willing learn about other Aon solution lines and introduce to clients as appropriate

Skills and experience that will lead to success:
  • Ten or more years of Health and Benefits background
  • Five plus years of benefits consulting/brokerage experience
  • Client facing experience at a consulting company, insurance company, brokerage or in the Health and Benefits discipline

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $175,000 to $225,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
